She's made a quiet little discovery

She shows up year-round. She's pure magic. And after collecting thousands of tiny teeth, she's made a quiet little discovery: some teeth are just a little bit different. Not better, not worse — just carrying something she's never seen before. Something that might just change everything she thought she knew.

I'm writing a children's book about this very special encounter — one that gives kids (and parents) a whole new way to think about celebrations. Follow along as the story comes to life.

My Story

I used to be the mom who happily
handed out every treat.

My daughter got the full childhood experience — chocolate bunnies, Halloween hauls, sweets at every birthday. I grew up that way and I loved it. I had every intention of passing it all down without a second thought.

"Then our son was born with a rare condition requiring one of the most restrictive diets you can imagine. And suddenly I couldn't unsee what we'd been feeding our kids all along."

I'm not a doctor or a nutritionist. I'm just a working mom of two who got a tough hand and came out the other side with a completely different lens — and a pretty urgent reason to find alternatives that still feel magical.

Here's what I know now: Kids remember the magic of those moments. The feeling of wonder is the whole point. So what if we could keep everything that makes celebrations feel special — the excitement, the ritual, the joy — and just get a little more creative with how we do it?
